Description

The Rapid Response® hMPV Test Cassette is a rapid visual immunoassay for the qualitative presumptive detection of human metapneumovirus from human nasal/nasopharyngeal swab samples. This kit is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of human metapneumovirus infection.

Human metapneumovirus, belonging to the Pneumoviridae family, is a significant cause of acute respiratory tract infections particularly in children, immunocompromised patients, and the elderly. It is identified as a leading cause of severe respiratory conditions and has been linked to substantial economic impacts on global health systems.

For professional laboratory in vitro diagnostic use only.
